'RAK Properties' Awards Contracts for Mina Al Arab

‘RAK Properties’ has granted 3 construction contracts for its Mina Al Arab project – one phase of which will be handed over in Q2 this year. The 3 construction contracts, worth AED400m ($108m), have been awarded to DTC, Al Tameer and AAA Contracting. The developer is going to deliver 20 residential buildings in the Mina Al Arab project, containing 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments. The 151,000 square meter area will house 808 residential units and these will be completed by the latter part of 2011.
As work continues on the AED10bn Mina Al Arab project, 2010 will see the delivery of 93 villas in the next few months, and 213 later in the year. The development will have 6 different districts with individual themes such as Arabic, South Pacific and Moorish. (Photo shows Mina Al Arab model construction)
