Ritz-Carlton Dubai to Have Large Expansion
Published: 1/28/2010
Hotel chiefs have said this week that they plan to expand the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai to have more rooms. The project will start in April and will comprise the addition of another 160 rooms and several new restaurants to the hotel. It is expected to reach completion in early 2012. The Ritz-Carlton hotel resort has 138 sea-view rooms across 7 floors. In the expansion plans, a new wing will be added to increase the number of rooms to a total of 301. 18 of the new rooms will be large suites, with 2 royal suites, with birds’-eye views across the Arabian Gulf. The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge with multi-lingual concierges will also be added on the 3rd floor of the new wing. Outdoor pools, a terrace, spa and fitness centre will be added furthermore. The hotel chiefs have said that there will not be a great deal of disruption during the construction of the new wing, as it will feature away from the existing rooms and facilities. The hotel resort has seen increasing guest numbers with each year that passes, and the expansion will meet these growing requirements. The development of The Walk and Dubai Marina will continue raising visitors’ attention to the hotel.
